Vulnerability and Cultural Heritage I: Heritage Crime, Illicit Trade, Stewardship and Ethics

9 – 10 May 2013, University of Leicester, UK

There will be an international and multidisciplinary conference relating to vulnerability and cultural heritage, which will be held at Leicester University (hosted by the Law School) between 9 and 10 May 2013.

This first conference will have a relatively narrow focus. It is concerned with the illicit trade in cultural property and issues relating to ethics and stewardship of heritage items. The event will consist of 6 panels, each with 3-4 speakers.
